Every food bank, shelter, ministry, and outreach is a branch of the same tree, serving the same community. Right now, most of them work alone, each one hunting for the same volunteers, the same meals, the same supplies.
MinisTREE connects them into one living network, so resources, people, and needs finally find each other.
The need is real. The connection is broken.

A pastor has a need today. A volunteer wants to help today. A food bank has five hundred pounds of bread to give right now. But those connections still happen slowly, by phone, by email, by word of mouth, and by the time help arrives, the moment has often passed.
The need has never been about money alone. It is about connecting the right people and resources to the right need at the right time. That is the gap MinisTREE closes.

MinisTREE is a 508(c)(1)(A) faith-based organization and operates as a private membership association (PMA).
Membership
Anyone may view this website without agreeing to anything. When you post a need or sign up to volunteer, you agree to these terms and become a member of the MinisTREE private membership association.
What gets posted
By posting a need, you agree that your organization’s name and the need you describe may be shown publicly on the board. By signing up to volunteer, you agree that your first name and last initial, what you will do, when, and the outreach you choose may be shown publicly on the board.
Sharing your contact information
When you volunteer, your name, email and phone are sent to the outreach you choose and to MinisTREE, so they can follow up with you directly.
Your responsibility
You agree that what you submit is true and that you will not post anything false, harmful or unlawful. MinisTREE may remove any post at any time.
Volunteering
MinisTREE connects volunteers with outreaches. Each outreach organizes and oversees its own activities, and MinisTREE does not supervise, employ or insure volunteers.
Leaving
You may end your membership and have your posts removed at any time by emailing [email protected] or calling 425-480-4069.

What we collect
Only what you type into the Post a need or I can help form: your name, email, phone, what you need or offer, when, and the outreach you choose. Just looking at this website does not require you to give us anything.
What is shown publicly
For volunteers: first name and last initial, what you will do, when, and the outreach. For needs: the organization’s name and the need. Your email and phone are never shown on the website.
Who sees your contact details
The outreach you choose and MinisTREE. We do not sell or rent your information.
Removing your information
Email [email protected] or call 425-480-4069 and we will remove it.
Missing in Snohomish County
When someone goes missing, the first hours matter most. Once a family’s report is checked, MINISTREE puts that face in front of every volunteer, church and outreach in the county who signed up for alerts, all at once.
Call 911 first
Someone missing right now? Call 911 or your local police before anything else. In Washington there is no waiting period to report a missing person.
Washington State Patrol Missing and Unidentified Persons Unit, 24 hours: 1-800-543-5678. Statewide list: wsp.wa.gov missing persons.
No active missing person alerts right now. When a family’s report is approved, it shows here and goes out to the search team the same minute.
Report a missing loved one
File a police report first. Then send us the details here. A MINISTREE volunteer checks the case number with you by phone before anything goes up. That protects everyone, including people who may be hiding from someone.
Join the search team
Be one of the people who gets the alert the minute it is approved. Share it, pray, watch your neighborhood, drive your route with your eyes open, and help when the family or the searchers ask.
How the search team works
- If you see the person, call 911 right away. Never approach, follow or confront anyone.
- Never search alone, and stay on public property.
- Share only the official alert and photo. No rumors, no guesses, and no posting of the family’s private details.
- When the police or Search and Rescue run a search, follow their lead and stay out of the search area unless they ask for help.

Sign up for alerts
Volunteers, churches and outreaches: sign up once. When an outreach posts an urgent need or a missing person alert is approved, you hear about it right away.
Missing person reports
Only a family member or legal guardian may report a missing person, and only after a police report has been filed. Every report is checked before it is shown. By sending a report, you confirm that what you send is true and give permission for the person’s name, age, photo, description and last known location, with the police case number and agency, to be shown publicly and sent to everyone signed up for alerts. MINISTREE may decline or remove any report, and removes the details once the person is found. MINISTREE is not a law enforcement agency and does not replace calling 911.
Alerts by text and email
When you sign up for alerts, you agree to receive texts and emails from MINISTREE about urgent needs and missing persons in Snohomish County. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or email [email protected] to leave the list.
The search team
Search team members act on their own and at their own risk. Never approach, follow or confront anyone. Call 911 with any sighting, search only with others and on public property, and follow the direction of law enforcement and Search and Rescue.
